Questions & answers
What we are often asked.
Answers to questions that arise with a first enquiry – about the process, services, prescriptions and service area. Not individual advice, but a first orientation.
First contact and process
How does the first contact work?
You call or write to us. You briefly describe who needs support and what kind of help you imagine. You don't need to prepare anything. Afterwards we clarify together what is needed and whether we can take on the care.
What information do you need initially?
A brief description is enough: who is it about, where does the person live, what kind of support is wanted and whether a medical prescription is already available. We clarify further documents as we go.
How quickly can care begin?
How quickly care can begin in an individual case depends on the medical prescription, the health insurance decision and our capacity. We tell you clearly what is possible.
Can I also get in touch as a relative?
Yes. It is often relatives who make the first contact. That is expressly welcome.
Can hospitals, practices and social services enquire directly?
Yes. There is a separate page for professional partners with the range of services, the process for enquiries and a form for care requests.
Services and prescriptions
Which services do you offer?
Medical treatment care, Basic care, Household help, Counselling visits under section 37(3) SGB XI, Out-of-hospital intensive care. Which service is suitable depends on the medical prescription and the assessment by the health insurance fund.
Do I need a medical prescription?
Yes for treatment nursing – it requires a prescription for home nursing care. For basic care, the scope depends on the care degree and individual needs. We clarify the exact process together.
What is the difference between treatment nursing and basic care?
Treatment nursing covers medically prescribed measures such as wound care, dressing changes or medication administration. Basic care is support with everyday things like washing, dressing, eating and moving. Both can be needed alongside each other.
What does § 37 para. 3 SGB XI mean?
Anyone who receives care allowance and is cared for at home by relatives must request an advisory visit at fixed intervals. This visit provides advice and confirmation for the care insurance fund. We offer it.
Service area and languages
In which area does Rozali's provide care?
Our base is Wuppertal-Ronsdorf. We provide care within a radius of approximately 50 kilometres. Whether care is possible at your address depends on the individual case. A separate page on the service area lists the details.
Which languages are spoken in the team?
The team speaks, among others, Arabic, Darija, Tamazight, Ukrainian, French, English and Polish. Which language is possible at an appointment depends on who is on duty. Ask us about it.
Data protection in the contact form
What happens to health data in the public contact form?
Please do not send us diagnoses, findings, lab results or other health data via the public form. Briefly describe who needs support and what kind of help you imagine. We exchange sensitive documents after the first contact through an agreed, secure channel.
These answers do not replace individual advice
The answers here are general and are intended to provide initial orientation. They do not replace medical, nursing or legal advice in individual cases. For your specific situation, call us – we will go through it together.
