Frequently asked questions
Is the advisory visit a check-up on me?
No. It is a conversation about care at home. We look at the situation together, offer practical suggestions and answer questions.
How often does the advisory visit have to take place?
The intervals depend on the care level and are set by law. Your care insurance fund will tell you the binding schedule that applies to you.
What does the advisory visit cost me?
The advisory visit under § 37 Abs. 3 SGB XI is billed through the care insurance fund.
Who should be present at the appointment?
It is most helpful if the person needing care and the relatives providing care are both there. Questions can then be settled directly.
What happens after my enquiry?
We get back to you and arrange an appointment. An enquiry does not yet create an agreement.
