Basic care

Basic care is support with the everyday things that are no longer safe to manage alone: washing, getting dressed, eating and drinking, getting up and moving.

Who is it for?

  • People who can no longer safely manage personal hygiene alone.
  • People who need support getting up, walking or changing position.
  • Relatives providing care at home who need relief.
  • People whose needs have changed after a hospital stay.

What can Rozali’s take on?

  • Support with personal hygiene and getting dressed
  • Help with eating and drinking
  • Support with getting up, moving and repositioning

It matters to us that people do as much as they can themselves. We take on what no longer works alone – no more than that.

What is needed for this?

  • A classification by the care insurance fund (Pflegegrad) – or the wish to apply for one.
  • The details of your care insurance fund (Pflegekasse).
  • A conversation about what is actually needed day to day.

The scope depends on the care level and on individual need. If there is no care level yet, we will explain how the application works.

How an enquiry works

  • You get in touch and briefly describe who it is about and what is needed.
  • We check whether the care fits our service area.
  • We look at the situation together and discuss the scope.
  • We record what has been agreed and begin the care.

Who pays for it?

Basic care is a benefit of the care insurance under SGB XI.

We will discuss openly what applies in your case before any care begins.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a care level (Pflegegrad)?

A classification is needed for benefits from the care insurance fund. If there is no care level yet, you can apply for one – we will explain the route.

How much support will I receive?

That depends on the care level and on actual need. We look at the situation together rather than quoting a standard package that does not fit everyday life.

What happens after my enquiry?

We get back to you and clarify the open points. An enquiry does not yet create an agreement.
